You can use this online consultation system to read our Draft Local Plan and to make comments during the consultation. For instructions on how to use the system and make comments, please see our help guide.

We are carrying out a Regulation 18 “issues and options” consultation to try to give as many people as possible the chance to have your say on the Local Plan.  We want to hear your comments to help us make the Plan the best it can be.  It is also a chance to put forward potential sites for development, so long as these can provide 10 or more dwellings.

When adopted, the Local Plan is the legal starting point for determining planning applications. It will help shape Torbay over the next 20 years.

In addition, we have a quick four question survey you may wish to complete. This is an anonymous survey that will be used to provide a quick snapshot of people's opinions on issues related to the Local Plan. Access our quick survey here.

We're holding in person drop-in sessions in support of the consultation. Come along and talk with the team at one of the following locations:

· Thursday 8 January, 4pm-8pm: Banking Hall, Torquay Town Hall, Castle Circus Torquay TQ1 3DR

· Tuesday 13 January, 10.30am-2.30pm: Paignton Library, Great Western Road, Paignton TQ4 5AG

· Thursday 15 January, 3.30pm-7.30pm: Scala Hall, Bolton Cross, Brixham TQ5 8TA

We also have the option to attend one of two online sessions with a short presentation followed by your chance to ask questions:
