I note that Policy HE1 covers designated heritage assets listed by English Heritage, excluding marine assets managed by the UK Government's National Historic Ships. Brixham has two registered vessels, "Pilgrim of Brixham" and "Vigilance of Brixham," which are part of the National Historic Fleet. These vessels are important for curating Brixham’s fishing history, a vital aspect of the town's heritage. When considering heritage in the local plan, these vessels should be recognised within the scope of Policy HE1 and any related onsiderations.
